Deborah Jackson, CEO and Founder, launched her new thought leadership blog on SmallBizDaily.com this week. Deborah explains how one young female Afghani technology entrepreneur is providing an online voice and income to women in her country, despite the challenges.

Accessories Council Crowd-Funding Breakfast Set for Feb. 25, 2014
Plum Alley founder and CEO Deborah Jackson will join Heidi Lehmann, co-founder SWSI (Smart Women, Smart Ideas) and Accessories Council president Karen Giberson for a panel discussion: What is Crowd-Funding and Is it Right for You?”
Plum Alley is an e-commerce and crowd-funding site for women’s innovation and products. SWSI is producing a multi-platform program to help entrepreneurs launch and fund new products.

PA Shopping Event at JWT in NYC
Plum Alley hosted a private shopping event this week at JWT, a major global advertising agency based in NYC. JWT has more than 200 offices world-wide and represents clients such as Bloomberg, HSBC, Johnson& Johnson and Kimberly-Clark.
Our featured designer was Kerrie Yeung.
