My daughter Lucy just graduated from the Gallatin School of Individualized Study. She has a true multidisciplinary education, is fluent in Chinese and in her last year of college discovered a love of art. Her room at home is full of graffiti street art, photography and paintings made by her and her friends. Last weekend, Lucy attended a NYC Resistor workshop and built an Arduino, a class which is like 101 electrical engineering meets computer coding. A new form of art and creativity takes hold. Here are some of the photos she shared with us. Plum Alley happens to be featuring a toy/educational project for girls and others. The world of arts and crafts for our daughters is expanding.
