Launch Event for Project Creators

I have watched the crowdfunding movement with a keen eye because it fits a critical void in the capital raising chain. How else can you efficiently and inexpensively test market acceptance of your product or secure orders before spending loads on production? Everyone knows that you need money to create a product or a company.
Tuesday evening, we met the ten brave women who just launched their campaigns on our new Plum Alley funding platform. Each of the 10 women are entrepreneurs and creatives from California, Connecticut, Colorado and New York. They span generations. They put themselves and their ideas out there for funding and presented their projects to their friends and family.
These inspiring women launched their funding campaigns on Plum Alley to be part of a community that supports women economically and buys their kind of product and services. They were willing to try the new way of crowdfunding to raise money for their dream. Thank you to these inspiring women who can be found on our site: Kathryn, Jennifer, Clare, Kimberly, Cindy, Elizabeth, Camilla, Heidi, Suzette, and Marci.
There is so much more to be done but we have taken the first step together. We believe in these women and they believe in Plum Alley. Now it is up to you. Please show your support for these women by funding their projects and helping us spread the word. You can contribute as little as $5, which will not be for charity or for equity– rather, you are purchasing a reward or a product, and funding their dream.
